Job Description
The Advertising and Media Operations Technology Associate Manager supports the implementation and optimization of technologies enabling paid media activation, campaign delivery, and performance measurement. Working closely with the Advertising and Media Operations Technology Manager and various cross-functional teams, this role helps operationalize the technology roadmap, coordinates with global media and creative partners, and ensures accurate and secure data flows across platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about media technology and digital transformation, seeking to grow into a strategic leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the development and execution of the marketing technology roadmap related to campaign planning, optimization, media, and creative operations.
• Monitor industry trends in AdTech and provide insights and implications for Barilla.
• Support configuration, integration, and rollout of advertising technologies in collaboration with global media and creative vendors
• Help define and document stakeholder roles and responsibilities for advertising technology use.
• Contribute to taxonomy initiatives and implement naming conventions across digital channels.
• Maintain documentation and dashboards to measure technology adoption, performance, and ROI.
• Ensure digital solutions align with company technology standards and security requirements.
• Oversee supplier relationships to ensure secure, compliant, and high-quality project execution. Manage contracts and partnerships for long-term value, alignment with business goals, and cost-effectiveness
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years in digital marketing, media operations, or advertising technology roles.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and DV360, with a strong understanding of campaign tracking, taxonomy and naming conventions, as well as analytics and reporting tools including Google Analytics and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of advertising and marketing technology ecosystems (AdTech and MarTech) and how they support campaign activation, media operations, measurement, and optimization.
• Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage timelines, track deliverables, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document processes, communicate complex information, and effectively present project updates to a variety of stakeholders.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions and act as a bridge between marketing, media, and IT stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative professional with a curious mindset, a passion for emerging technologies, and the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
