Group Customers Development is looking for a Global Customers Food Service Analyst to join the Global Customers Food Service team. The person will be based in our HQ in Amsterdam, and will report to the Global Customers Food Service Associate Director.
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will Support the Global Food Service family on trade marketing, sales activities and data analytics.
Key Accountabilities

Value Added Services

Define and develop channel and customer marketing activations and tools to unlock business opportunities.

Create channel-specific marketing concepts and tools to support sales in acquiring and retaining global and local customers, working closely with food service marketing agencies.

Organize and implement global and local customer events, partnership workshops, and educational programs for chefs.

Support local and regional teams in scaling local activities to an international level.

Data Analytics

Identify potential uncovered opportunities through database mining.

Conduct post-activity/event ROI analysis and recommend adjustments.

Deliver analyses to support strategic and tactical decisions (e.g., market research).

Team Support

Coordinate internal communication and meetings (e.g., food service newsletters and organizing and following up on international regional meetings).

Support the Key Account team with customer presentations, sales tools, and other activities.

Manage marketing expenses and budgets in close alignment with senior management, including the creation of purchase orders (POs).

Leading the relationships with agencies for event organization and follow ups (ie digital communication pre/post event, PR where appropriate)

Coordinate customer visits to Barilla offices, the Barilla Academia in Parma, and production plants.

Requirements

Degree in Business Management, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Engineering or similar.

Data Analytics: Strong analytical skills with ability to data mine, identify business opportunities through database analysis, and conduct post-activity ROI analysis. Ability to deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

Proactive & Solution-Oriented: Self-starter, with can-do and problem-solving attitude.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and effectively to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., sales, key accounts, regional marketing) and external partners (e.g., marketing agencies).

Marketing Analytics Tools: Direct experience with market research methodologies and databases is a plus.

Fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of Italian is an advantage. Additional languages are a plus
