Job description

Barilla is seeking a motivated IT Associate Manager to join our team in Amsterdam. The selected candidate will ensure the efficient functioning and evolution of local IT services, supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic digital initiatives in alignment with Barilla’s global standards.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to guarantee the availability, security, and evolution of IT services for the Barilla Netherlands office. This includes managing local service providers, supporting employees' digital needs, and coordinating IT initiatives with the global IT organization.

Key Accountabilities:

•  Provide hands-on IT support for the Barilla office in the Netherlands
•  Coordinate and manage local external IT service providers (e.g., help desk, network, collaboration tools)
•  Act as the main contact for IT consultants, third-party vendors, and technology partners•  Implement and promote cybersecurity best practices to safeguard business operations
•  Support and maintain IT platforms with a user-centric focus
•  Ensure local IT systems evolve in line with Barilla’s global standards and service portfolio
•  Propose and lead local digital projects in coordination with Global IT functions
•  Report directly to the Workplace and Service Measurement Sr. Manager, based in Parma, Italy

Desired Skills and Background:

• Solid understanding of Microsoft infrastructure and cloud-based technologies
• General knowledge of operating systems, scripting, web technologies, and LAN/network configurations
• Strong project management and planning capabilities
• Familiarity with IT procurement, budgeting, and software license management
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning in a tech-driven environment
• Problem-solving mindset in complex IT systems and service delivery
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English
• Team-oriented with the ability to work cross-functionally and internationally
