We are looking for our next Insights Manager to join our Insight team with a focus on our Bakery category!
Job Purpose
The Insights Manager (Bakery), working in the Insights (Now) team as part of the AI, Analytics & Insight unit, is responsible for generating actionable consumer, shopper and market understanding that drives business decisions, innovation and brand equity, in partnership with Category Marketing & Equity, Research, Development & Quality, and cross-functional teams. By integrating multiple sources, including consumer research, analytics, social intelligence, business performance data and AI-enabled approaches, the role helps translate consumer understanding into clear recommendations that guide decision making and drive business impact.
The role involves a global responsibility across Bakery and iconic brands such as Wasa, Harrys and Mulino Bianco.
Key Accountabilities
• Generate actionable consumer, shopper and market insights that support category and brand growth.
• Define insights plans and manage qualitative, quantitative, social intelligence, AI-enabled research programs aligned with business priorities, via cutting-edge methodologies.
• Integrate consumer research, analytics, syndicated data, social intelligence, foresights, emerging trends & needs, business performance indicators into recommendations.
• Partner with Marketing, Research, Development & Quality and cross-functional teams to embed the consumer perspective into innovation, brand campaigns and business processes, including Phase&Gate, B-Meet within the perimeter of the Category Market Combinations.
• Monitor the brands health status and ensure powerful insights to strengthen equity (including Italy).
• Contribute to the annual Bakery insight plan and category learning agenda.
• Deliver insight-driven recommendations that support business priorities and growth.
• Manage research investments and external partners to maximize quality, impact and value creation.
• Act as a trusted insights partner, building consumer understanding across the Bakery organization.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of Insights capabilities, methodologies and AI adoption.
• Influence stakeholders through compelling storytelling, consultative partnership, evidence-based opportunities and recommendations to generate impact.
• Champion a consumer-centric culture and inspire the organization through deep consumer understanding and an outside-in perspective, continuously evolving insight generation through innovative methodologies, behavioral approaches and AI capabilities.
Qualifications
• University degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Psychology, Social Sciences or related fields.
• 5–7+ years of experience in Consumer Insights, Market Research, Analytics, Strategy or related disciplines within CPG companies or research agencies.
• Strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources into clear business narratives and recommendations.
• Strong communication, storytelling and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.
• International mindset, curiosity and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment.
• Proven ability to influence business decisions through actionable insights.
