Transformation Analyst

Job Purpose:
Contribute to defining and advancing the company’s transformation agenda. Support the management and orchestration of cross-functional transformation projects’ portfolio and key processes, ensuring governance, delivery, and alignment with the Strategic Plan.

This implies being involved in key projects and navigating diverse, cross-functional teams. Operating with a consultancy mindset, this role will eventually support the Growth team by contributing to the execution of M&A and post-merger integration (PMI) activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct involvement in Transformative Initiatives:
    • Support high-priority transformation projects from end to end, ensuring successful delivery and tangible impact.
    • Provide ownership at all stages of the project lifecycle, working with stream leaders in order to ensure deliverables (on time, on cost, on scope).
  • Support Business Integration to:
    • Ensure transparency on transformation initiatives: clear status on deliverables, kpis & resource capacity.
    • Oversee execution to ensure initiatives are completed on time while proactively mitigating risks of delays or organizational fatigue.
    • Align projects with the company’s strategic agenda to maximize synergies.
    • Integrate transformation work with Barilla’s digital strategy.
  • Portfolio Management/ KPI tracking:
    • Support the management of cross-functional transformation projects portfolio, prioritizing initiatives in coordination with other business units and regions.
    • Engage stakeholders, track kpi’s, and deliver periodical updates on project progress and results.
  • Team Coordination:
    • Navigate cross-functional and cross-geographical teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring active participation from all members.
    • Build effective working relationships to drive successful service transformation and continuous improvement.

 

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: 3/4 years in project management/business process redesign, ideally in an international environment; consultancy experience is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (engineering preferred, but open to other disciplines based on experience).
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is a must; Italian is a plus.
  • Certifications: Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Skills/Competencies:
    • Goal-oriented and analytical with strong problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management at all organizational levels
    • Able to perform under pressure and adapt in multicultural/international settings
    • Strategic thinker and effective team builder
    • Able to handle confidential information discreetly, in full compliance with internal policies and required NDAs.

Additional information

  • 1 year fixed term, with the intention to extend for another year.
