Job Description

 

The IT Manager will play a role at Western Europe region level, assuring the appropriate service level for the existing IT Solutions/Services, proactively collaborating with the key business stakeholders in the analysis of new needs, managing project proposals and supporting the design/deploy of the Barilla Group/Local IT Solutions.

Within the Western Europe region (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain), he/she will proactively collaborate with Business Managers and Users, assuring the proper support in the use of the existing IT Applications & Services and collecting/analyzing emerging needs and requirements. The candidate will focus on IT Solutions supporting Sales/Customer processes, Finance-Controlling, Consumer MKTG and HR.

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Proactively collaborate with the business owners supporting the operative processes trough IT Solutions and Services
  • Conceptual analysis of business needs and IT solution design
  • Management of IT projects
  • Support of existing IT applications and processes (Business Users support)
  • Optimization of existing applications and processes working closely together with the local business users and with a tight collaboration with other DBT functions at European and global level.
  • Involvement in national and international projects within the Barilla Group

 

Requirements:

  • Self-organization and coordination of all required activities
  • Cooperation with other internal organizational units
  • Manage project teams at international level including internal and external resources.
  • Ability to cooperate with and analyze offers of IT suppliers of IT applications or IT system integration
  •  Ability to continuously learn and to be up-to-date not only regarding the evolution of IT technologies and IT services but also regarding best practices coming from different countries and companies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed degree (bachelor or master) in business management studies or IT Area or equivalent in the commercial area
  • About 5 years of working experience as IT analyst (business processes/needs) and IT Project Management
  • Good knowledge about Sales and/or Customer management and/or Marketing
  • Knowledge in Human Resources processes would be a plus
  • Experience in project management methodologies
  • Experience in SAP environment (SAP-SD, SAP-CRM, SAP-FI) and/or digital web technologies (such as Web Site design & management)
  • Very good English skills in speaking and writing, the multinational culture of the company, the availability to travel
  • High skills and aptitude for communication, team working and open relationship management
  • Very Good ability to work in an international context, very open to cultural and people diversity
  • Considering travelling at European level and occasionally worldwide is required.
