Demand Planning Senior Analyst

Now, as Barilla Turkey we are looking for a Demand Planning Senior Analyst– as a part of our Customer Services & Demand Planning team, based in İstanbul.
Job Description:
- Lead the demand management process by collecting input from related functions to provide the best market demand estimate possible and fulfill this information to Supply Chain in accordance with their needs to meet customer service expectations at the lowest cost to serve.
- Cooperation with related functions in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the processes and properly deliver the expected volumes.
- Identifying the relative quantities and effective planned sales, sales linked to specific commercial actions (promotions / launch of new products / launch of advertising campaigns). Ensure the analysis of the rational criteria and the structure of the expected required volumes.
- Collection and validation of performance indicators, both at aggregated level and at single category / product level, by preparing the appropriate reports for the Superior and by identifying the main critical areas and opportunities for improvement. Ensure constant monitoring of the forecast accuracy.
- Optimize the stock levels for domestic and imported products to avoid shortage and over stock; manage critical and promotional stocks.
- Validating the production planning and the availability of import products verified with the Central Demand Planner. On a weekly basis ensure the stock and supply status reports are prepared and published.
- Provide consistently updated forecasts by product category, SKU and expected ship date to Supply Chain planning on a monthly/weekly cycles.
Qualifications:
- University degree, preferably in Engineering.
- Proven experience in managing the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Customer Service or Supply Chain, ideally within the FMCG industry.
- Strong command of MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- High level of initiative and a strong drive for continuous process improvement.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication across international and cross-functional teams.
