Job Description
Barilla America, Inc. wants to recruit a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. This individual will reporting to the Purchasing Associate Director.
This is a hybrid role based out of Northbrook, IL.
Job Purpose:
To develop awareness of several Supply Chain functional areas (Procurement, Logistics/Customer Service, Distribution Planning, Operations Projects) in order to be ready to enter another role in Supply Chain within 2 years or when an opportunity arises, while providing support and adding value to various departments of Supply Chain.
Key Accountabilities:
• Perform market analysis and support assessment of potential vendors in existing and new categories while learning the fundamentals of Procurement.
• Manage the business relationship with a co-manufacturing supplier to support Procurement.
• Oversee procurement and cost-tracking activities for Gas and Electric energy in USA and Canada.
• Become the project leader and be responsible for leading the team to achieve a successful implementation of a Supply Chain project.
• Support the production planning for several locations including reporting on forecast trends, Out of Stock detection, and root cause analysis.
• Conduct in-depth analyses on order, performance, and customer deduction data to build reporting, identify trends, and define improvement actions.
• Support both internal and customer-facing meetings by leveraging data-driven insights to align on KPIs and supply chain efficiency opportunities within Customer Logistics.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable/Finance to review and mitigate logistics deductions and improve the deduction validation process.
• Manage the system setup for new items In Advance Planning Operations and R/3 for the Planning Team. Work with planners on changes to key master data (e.g. safety days etc.).
• Run the Weekly Planning Report or other KPI reporting. Manage hold product evaluations, production attainment reports, or oversell/undersell historical reports.

Desired Skills and Background:
• Bachelor’s Degree (concentration in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics or Information Technology)
• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain or related field preferred
• Experience in CPG a plus
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI experience preferred.
• Ability to work strategically and tactically with a hands-on approach
• Able to prioritize tasks and have good time management skills when faced with multiple tasks at once
• Adaptable and can work in a fast-paced environment
• Detailed, organized, and driven
• Travel: limited, possibly visit one of our plants and some copackers during the training period in purchasing and attend some customer meetings for Customer Logistics.
As of the date of this posting, the estimated pay range for this role is $62k-$68k plus eligibility to participate in the annual discretionary bonus plan. The actual pay for the position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, skills, education, location, and internal equity. This range may be subject to change over time.
