We are looking for an Asset Inventory Accounting Analyst to join our team in Parma for a 12-month fixed-term contract.


Job purpose


Guarantee the correct accounting representation of all the events connected to the life of an asset and support the process of obtaining public grants related to the plants.
Oversee the correct application and governance of the Production Management rules and procedures, through the centralized process directly managed, to satisfy the Business requirements.

 

Key Accountabilities


•    Guarantee the correct accounting representation of the events related to the management of an asset (capitalization, depreciation, disposals, revaluations), according to accounting policies, company policies and tax requirements;
•    Interact with the plants and their operational staff with reference to the following activities/tasks:
-    RCA (Request of Capital Appropriation)/RAD (Request for Asset Disposal): verification and approval of document data, preparation of the documentation requested by other units, approval of monthly communication, forecast management;
-    Asset tree management: plants support and labels check;
-    Asset management different areas (Statutory/Fiscal/Management/IFRS): master data, transfers, support users of other units;
•    Support the activity of: 
-    Check and release of the new machines created;
-    Disposals: answer to created tickets; check and management of the disposal accounting process.
•    Guarantee information support to External Auditors after the year-end closure (variance calculations / stock evaluation, allowances, assets classification; depreciation calculation);
•    Guarantee information support to Internal Auditors and Consolidated and European Financial Statement Offices.
•    Assure the correct cost and Management Transfer Price calculation throughout the year for all the managed legal entities (finished goods and semi-finished goods);
•    Ensure the management of all the forecast specific transactions during the budget period, with reference to the standard costs for Finished Goods;
•    Assure, at year-end of the year and during the forecast moments, the calculation of the maintenance allowances for Italy, France, Sweden and Germany, following the financial methodology;
•    Manage the finished goods and promotional items master data, in order to allow the correct warehouse movements;

 


Requirements


•    University degree in Economics or equivalent; 
•    At least 6 months work experience in accounting (if applied also to the management of Assets will be considerate a plus); 
•    Good knowledge of English;
•    Knowledge of Office applications (excel, word, power point) is mandatory;
•    Knowledge of SAP;
•    Analytical approach and data accuracy;
•    Good communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
•    Team player, with the ability to build solid relationships.
