The role


Are you ready to step in?!

As Consumer Marketing Soft Breads & Minicakes Intern, you will support the Marketing Team in enabling high-quality, data-driven go-to-market decisions across the Soft Breads and Minicakes sub-category.

Working closely with Managers and senior team members, you will contribute to multiple initiatives in parallel, supporting planning, execution, and performance tracking activities. The internship offers a structured learning path to develop analytical capabilities while understanding how marketing strategies are translated into concrete business actions.

In particular, you will:

  • Support the Marketing Team in analyzing business performance across brands, initiatives, and channels.
  • Assist in translating business questions into structured analyses and decision-ready insights.
  • Contribute to ensuring analytical consistency and comparability across brands and initiatives.
  • Support end-to-end performance tracking activities, including volumes, value, profitability, marketing and media effectiveness, pricing and promotional performance.
  • Help define and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Analyze consumer, shopper, market, and commercial data to identify trends and insights.
  • Integrate insights from multiple data sources (media, pricing, promotions, observatory data, desk research).
  • Support budget tracking activities related to marketing, media, and promotional investments.
  • Contribute to ROI analyses and effectiveness evaluations of marketing and trade initiatives.
  • Assist in scenario analyses and preparation of business cases for key initiatives.
  • Support planning and governance processes, including annual plans, quarterly reviews, and performance deep dives.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and structured materials for internal meetings and decision forums.
  • Ensure data accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all analyses and reports.

Through this internship, you will gain a 360° understanding of analytical support to marketing decision-making within a complex and fast-moving FMCG organization.

 

Who we are looking for


To apply for this position, check that you meet the following criteria:

  • Recently graduated (or about to graduate) in Economics, Marketing, Business Management, Engineering or similar fields.
  • Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken).
  • Strong interest in marketing analytics, business performance, and data-driven decision making.
  • Good analytical skills and confidence in working with numbers and structured data.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities in parallel with attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

 

In addition, the following will be considered a plus:

  • First exposure to data analysis tools or market databases (e.g. Nielsen, IRI).
  • Previous internship or academic experience in FMCG or marketing-related roles.
  • Interest in bakery products, food categories, and consumer behavior.
