Barilla is currently looking for a Customer Team Assistant to join Italy Customer Teams department.

 

Purpose of the Role

 

The successful candidate will work with a customer dedicated team, ensuring operative and administrative support on trade activities and commercial relationships, supporting and coordination the team in the development of category plans.  He/She will be responsible to manage pricing and invoicing transactional processes, preparing reports, performance analysis, manage commercial documentation and providing data for in-store execution systems.

 

Key Responsibilities  


•    Sales Reporting, via BI systems, SIE and other external sources (i.e. Nielsen data).
•    Support the team in category analysis in order to identify performance gaps and opportunities.
•    Manage internal communication with Field Sales on promotion initiatives and product listed by customers, both via mail and via integrated sales execution systems.
•    Review and maintain office systems, including data management and filing; carry out background research and present findings; produce documents, reports and presentations; file and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
•    Deal with promo pricing/invoicing process (operative planning and management on SAP interface).
•    Support administrative claims from customers (reporting, checks, settlement and coordination with credit office).
•    Serves as primary point of contact (i.e. mail, phone calls, P.E.C.) for internal and external constituencies on all matters above.
•    Prepare reports, letters, and other documents, using word processing, spread sheet, database, or presentation software.

 

Requirements

 

  • Masters’ degree in Trade Marketing, Business Management, Data Analytics for Business, Economics; 
  • Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken
  • Study or work experience abroad is an advantage.
  • Passion for analytics and strong numerical skills.
  • Work effectively with others at all levels of the organisation, such as team members, senior leaders, management and customers.
  • Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to routinely solve complex administrative problems independently.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage time and multiple commitments simultaneously.
  • Tech-savvy, proficient knowledge of the MS Office.
  • Team working attitude, ability in building and maintaining good relationships
  • Familiarity with the Italian retail sales environment.
