Job description
Barilla G. e R. Fratelli is looking for a Digital Enteprise Architecture Analyst to join the Digital Architecture department. The role reports to the Digital Architecture Senior Manager and it is based in Parma (Italy).
Job Purpose
The enterprise architect cooperates with the GD&BT members so that the high level architectural design of each IT initiative is in line with guidelines, best practices and IT strategy. This target is facilitated by the technical governance process, whose the enterprise architect is responsible for overseeing, to ensure that all IT projects comply with architectural guidelines and principles.
This role involves working with Barilla and third-party project managers, business partners, and managers to collect information and participate in the design of projects architecture, as well as close alignment with the Digital Architecture team and the IT Strategy team.
The enterprise architect manages the collection and organization of information related to the enterprise architecture across all layers of the Barilla IT landscape, including business, application, integration, and technology. This responsibility includes coordinating the evolution and operating processes of enterprise architecture tools, as well as keeping them up to date with the latest market trends.
The enterprise architect also supports the team in the ongoing improvement and development of enterprise architecture strategy, operational processes and services, as well as in designing architectural guidelines, standards, and best practices. This includes sharing, presenting, and promoting IT adoption.
Collaboration with the AI and data analytics team is required to design architectures that effectively integrate AI and data analytics throughout the IT environment.
Finally, the enterprise architect provides support for strategic programs and assessments required by digital transformation initiatives, producing documentation and architectural artifacts, updating architectural best practices to seamlessly introduce innovation, with increasing involvement in these programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the technical governance process to ensure all IT projects align with architectural guidelines and principles.
• Collaborate with Barilla and third-party project managers, business partners, and managers to gather information and design project architectures.
• Collect, maintain, share the architecture information for all the enterprise architecture layers (Business, Application, Data and Integration, Infrastructure) in the enterprise architecture tools.
• Run the enterprise architecture tools information maintenance and update processes, in cooperation with the IT information holders.
• Support the evolution of enterprise architecture strategy, processes, and services, and design architectural guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the AI/D2V team to integrate AI and data analytics into the IT landscape.
• Support strategic assessments for digital transformation programs with documentation and architectural artifacts.
Requirements
• Education: Master’s degree in STEM disciplines.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in enterprise architecture.
• Project Management: Experience in project management and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture principles and tools.
• Knowledge of IT organization and basic processes.
• Knowledge of SAP main solutions and cloud architectures is a plus.
• Certifications: Certifications in enterprise architecture, such as TOGAF, are a plus.
• Language Skills: Proficient in both English and Italian.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
• Flexibility to adapt and establish effective relationships with different internal and external counterparts.
