Job Description


The Advertising and Media Operations Technology Associate Manager supports the implementation and optimization of technologies enabling paid media activation, campaign delivery, and performance measurement. Working closely with the Advertising and Media Operations Technology Manager and various cross-functional teams, this role helps operationalize the technology roadmap, coordinates with global media and creative partners, and ensures accurate and secure data flows across platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about media technology and digital transformation, seeking to grow into a strategic leadership position.


Key Responsibilities and Deliverables


•    Marketing Capabilities Execution: Support the development and execution of the marketing technology roadmap related to campaign planning, optimization, media, and creative operations. Deliverables include cross-functional project execution, stakeholder collaboration, technological alignment with group standards, and timely delivery.
•    Industry Thought Leadership:Monitor industry trends in AdTech and provide insights and implications for Barilla. Deliverables include internal articles, newsletters, and contributions to capability platforms and external committees.
•    Vendor and Partner Coordination: Support configuration, integration, and rollout of advertising technologies in collaboration with global media and creative vendors. Deliverables include onboarding documentation, implementation trackers, and issue logs.
•    Operating Model Documentation: Help define and document stakeholder roles and responsibilities for advertising technology use. Deliverables include operating models and RACI charts.
•    Taxonomy & Naming Conventions:Contribute to taxonomy initiatives and implement naming conventions across digital channels. Deliverables include updated frameworks and channel-specific guides.
•    Technology Performance Monitoring:Maintain documentation and dashboards to measure technology adoption, performance, and ROI. Deliverables include dashboards, service desk logs, and usage reports.
•    Technical Compliance:Ensure digital solutions align with company technology standards and security requirements. Deliverables include technical assurance and oversight.
•    Vendor Relationship Management:Oversee supplier relationships to ensure secure, compliant, and high-quality project execution. Manage contracts and partnerships for long-term value, alignment with business goals, and cost-effectiveness.

Job Requirements and Qualifications


•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Information Systems, or a related field
•    Minimum of 4 years in digital marketing, media operations, or advertising technology roles
•    Technical Skills:
o    Familiarity with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, DV360
o    Understanding of campaign tracking, taxonomy, and naming conventions
o    Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics and Power BI
•    Project Coordination:
o    Strong ability to manage timelines and track deliverables
o    Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and working with external vendors
•    Communication:
o    Strong verbal and written communication skills
o    Ability to document processes and present project updates effectively
•    Mindset:
o    Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative
o    Curious and eager to learn about emerging technologies
o    Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
