Job description


Acting as business counterpart for the regional stakeholders on the respective processes, S/he will be responsible to design the solutions and manage the execution of the assigned projects to support regional business.

S/he will monitor the status of initiatives and activities, maintain status reports, while granting a high standard in the level of deliverables and the commitment of all the project teams (internal / external), will continuously monitoring performance of running solutions. S/he will work in strong cooperation with Business Stakeholders and other IT teams.

The role will report to the IT Region Italy Director and it will be based in our headquarter in Parma.

We support hybrid working, as a mix of working remotely and from the office.

 

Key Accountabilities 

 

  • Work closely with Business Referents identifying needs and opportunities, accordingly to IT Strategy and portfolio priorities
  • Review requirements, understanding the new ones and their impact on the systems landscape
  • Analyze functional specifications, with a tight collaboration with business counterparts and IT colleagues (both internal and external)
  • Apply her/his expertise to design innovative solutions whenever required or to leverage already existing technologies to obtain new solutions, according to a cost/benefit evaluation, working in cooperation with IT Teams such as Global IT Functional, IT Infrastructure, Architecture & Cybersecurity
  • Deliver the solutions and define the maintenance process.
  • Monitor the performance of the running solution and together with Global team identify improvement action plans when required.
  • Evaluate requests for process improvements in the project scope areas, executing in-depth analysis of the requests with the process owners according to the guidelines shared with the manager
  • Address issues and risks from IT perspective
  • Optimize continuously existing applications working closely with local business users and D&BT functions at local and global level
  • Ensure that the project implementations are coherent with IT standards in all phases of the process, from initial approval to follow-up and final user acceptance


Requirements

 

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in system integration consulting companies and/or IT departments of multinational companies, performing solution design, system configuration and testing, project management
  • Experience in sales & marketing, and/or in finance processes and solutions; additional process knowledge in other domains will be considered a plus.
  • Ability to perform articulated solution design to select the best technology to fulfill the requirements
  • Project Management skills and ability to coordinate interfunctional teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with others to achieve the goals
  • Curiosity, ability to identify unconventional / innovative solutions and proactive approach
  • Knowledge of SAP environment as well as of CRM, SFA and marketing solutions will be highly preferred
  • Fluency in Italian and English
