Working context
The unit is responsible for the labelling process cross RD&Q and cross Regions. Working on the management and improvement of the labelling software in place to guarantee the correct mandatory contents of product labels for all markets.
Job purpose
• Working within the labelling platform, opening the task, checking presence of contents, then deciding which Mandatory Content on packs should be added/updated. Accordingly activate the appropriate Content Owners within all RDQ. Maintain continuous contacts with RDQ and legal departments tracking artwork approval Manage the reworking process of mandatory labelling contents in case of artwork rejection deciding which RDQ actors should be involved.
• Work on the database review started few months ago and, in collaboration with IT, complete the data upload in the system. Finalize the collection of the data check from the regions and be active part of the upload in the platform checking the correct allocation of the data with a deep understanding of the technical aspects.
Main activities
• Lead the RDQ labelling timing having visibility on all labelling project steps monitoring completion of tasks, defining and mitigating causes of delay. Close the artwork project when all mandatory contents and approvals have been received. Review the formal presence of contents after the amends by the Content Owners. Assure the presence of required languages on pack and, when necessary, send request for translations to ICM (International Compliance Manager).
• Understanding the Barilla labelling process and the actors involved at a global level. Build strong collaboration with RDQ, marketing and legal departments within the labelling process. Collaborate with Technical Regulatory in the nutrition panel review and further upload. Work in close collaboration with the Content coordinator to reach a deep understanding of the usage and management of the database.
Requirements
• Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Food & Technology, Quality & Food Safety or equivalent
• Analytical approach and strong computer skills
• Attitude to team-working and collaborative approach
• Curiosity, openness to new and different ideas
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Proactivity and can-do attitude
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
