Job description
You will join the Facility Management Italy team based in Pedrignano, the industrial and corporate heart of Barilla, supporting projects aimed at enhancing workplace experience, employee services and space management across one of the largest corporate campuses in Italy. Six months full time internship starting from September 2026, base in Parma HQ.
Job purpose
Besides being exposed to day-to-day Facility Management activities, you will:
- Support the redesign and development of the new Facility Management SharePoint website
- Collect, review, update and reorganize documentation related to workplace services, hospitality, wellbeing and mobility
- Collaborate on the review and communication of Facility Management policies and procedures
- Support workplace mapping and space management activities, including office layouts and occupancy distribution
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of a new meeting room naming system across the campus
- Work with local and global Facility Management teams to improve service visibility and user experience
- Support communication initiatives aimed at increasing employee awareness and engagement with Facility Management services.
Main activities
- Review and update existing Facility Management documentation, ensuring accessibility and consistency of information
- Organize and structure content within the company SharePoint platform
- Analyze current workplace services and identify opportunities for process and communication improvements
- Support the mapping of office spaces and workplace allocation
- Collaborate in the creation of communication materials related to Facility
- Management services and policies: coordinate information gathering with internal stakeholders and external service providers when required; support the development of proposals to improve employee access to workplace, hospitality, wellbeing and mobility services
Requirements
- Master's degree student (2nd year) or newly graduated in Management Engineering, Architecture, IT and related field
- Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Curiosity and willingness to understand complex organizational environments
- Problem-solving attitude and proactive mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
- Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities simultaneously.
