Job purpose
The internship project aims to support R&D activities through a learning-oriented and hands-on experience focused on the collection, organization and basic analysis of market and technical data related to shelf-stable pasta-based meal solutions. The intern will gain exposure to pilot plant, laboratory and R&D processes, with the opportunity to actively participate in the early development and testing of new product concepts.
Job description
- Support the creation of a structured database by collecting and organizing data from external sources (e.g. Mintel/GNPD) and mapping existing shelf-stable products available on the market
- Contribute to the analysis of basic physicochemical characteristics in collaboration with internal laboratories, with the aim of building an integrated database (market insights + technical information)
- Support the exploration of new shelf-stable pasta-based meal concepts (dry and wet), contributing to the consolidation of internal know-how and supporting future innovation projects
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Food Technology / Food Science
- Theoretical knowledge of food processing technologies
- Interest in product development in a pilot plant environment
- Understanding of experimental trials and data collection
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English
- Curiosity and willingness to learn through hands-on R&D activities
- Analytic mindset, with the ability to observe, structure and interpret experimental results and to connect across different topics
- Precision and strong attention to detail
- Collaborative and team-oriented attitude
