Job purpose

 

Barilla G. & R. Fratelli wants to recruit a Labor Cost Planning and Reporting HR Manager within the People Operations Processes & Analytics, based in Parma. The individual will report to the People operation Processes & Analytics Director and will be supported by a dedicated resource.

 

Job description

The individual will be responsible to support the labor cost planning coordination, control and reporting of Barilla Group, supporting Regional, Clusters and Central Functions HRs in managing the labor cost in line with respective targets along with the HR Labor Cost Model and Group reporting rules.

 

Responsibilities

  • In line with Group Controlling calendar, grant the proper labor cost data flow governance giving guidance to relevant Line HR & Payroll managers for budget & forecast planning processes as well as for  reporting processes.
  • Directly support the input of SAC HR Planning budget & forecast standard templates for Overhead & Selling Field taking responsibility of data accuracy & reliability together with relevant Line HRs.
  • Directly manage  the monthly uploading in SAC Planning and OneHR  of actual labor cost data from country payrolls and payroll providers,  of labor cost accruals and other personnel costs in coordination with countries’ HR Units.
  • Perform periodical reconciliation between SAC HR data & FI accounting data in coordination with the relevant HR responsible , Local Payroll Managers and Administrative Shared Service Center. She/he also support Line HRs in overseeing the Local Wage type mapping against the Global Catalogue in line with G/L account mapping.
  • In line with Corporate Accounting rules and Labor Cost Model, is accountable to providing the superior and Line HRs responsible with timely variance analysis vs. actuals for the labor costs also highlighting critical factors or issues.
  • Directly manage the HR metrics & dashboard reporting and support his superior in its deployment and periodical updates.
  • Support the HR function to the strategical evolution of the payroll operations globally, directly acting as focal reference point to manage payrolls in outsourcing for UK and the Netherlands headquarters.

 

Requirements

  • Bsc Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Administration is required, Msc preferred.
  • Accounting and/or Finance experience required: 4 years or more; Payroll experience preferred.
  • Advanced planning & accounting skills, understanding of HR planning & accounting processes, procedures, internal controls and including strong data analysis skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment with effective people management and communication skills (written & verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset and with experience in managing cross-functional and cross-geographical relationships.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
  • Fluent in English and Italian required.
  • Excellent skills are required in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and SAP FI & BW
  • Italian Work permit.
