Job description

 

Our Controlling unit is looking for a Plant Controller, who will report to the Plant Controlling Manager and it will be based in our Headquarters in Parma. 

 

Job Purpose

 

  • Guarantee the correct application and governance of the Product Costing Model rules and procedures for two production plants.
  • Ensure the alignment with manufacturing processes supporting plant in identify projects and initiatives in order to improve cost competitiveness.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Perform products costing calculation ensuring the alignment with physical process and FCA/RCA target.
  • Perform monthly closure and provide accurate reporting managing all the variance analysis by developing the full breakdown of the cost components and ensure the accuracy of the result at plant and product level.
  • Run forecast and budget processes in coordination with plant team in order to embed targets and continuous improvement projects.
  • Guarantee for all the processes the guidelines and timing  in accordance with corporate calendar.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support the decision making process both on variable and fixed costs.
  • Monitor BOM alignment between manufacturing and costing and work in coordination with RDQ and packaging department in order to share modifications to be implemented by the plant responsible.
  • Guarantee the alignment between economical result and systems outcome and work in coordination with IT department.
  • Support the continuous improvement team to track projects and Cost Deployment process.
  • Monitor and update existing work routines, processes and reporting in coordination with other functions if needed in order to highlight areas of improvement and simplification.
  • Act proactively in order to identify projects of continuous improvement and support the achievement of plant cost reduction objectives.


Requirements

 

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering
  • 2 years of experience in the Finance and Administration area, or in Supply Chain
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC, EPM, MS Office Apps (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access), Teams. The knowledge of Power BI is a plus
  • Fluency in Italian and English; the knowledge of one additional foreign language is a plus
  • Availability to travel when needed
  • Excellent Communication skills at any level and ability to summarize information in effective way
  • Analytical and accurate mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure to respect tight deadlines
  • Curiosity and proactive mindset
  • Open minded
