Job description

Through a strong and valuable partnership with Supply Chain the team ensure connection between physical processes & economic view monitoring deviations and supporting corrective actions. 
Leveraging on P&L and costs representation knowledge, the team support the implementation of different projects and multiyear plans aimed to improve competitiveness through a proper decision making.

 

Job purpose

The internship aims to train on the key controlling capabilities and knowledge, giving deep insights into the work of Industrial Controlling department.

 

Main activities


You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to the team’s day-to-day activities, including:
•    Support in Monthly Closing and Reporting, managing autonomously some areas of analysis.
•    Support the Plant Controlling team in identifying opportunities to apply AI and advanced analytics to existing controlling processes and business questions.
•    Develop innovative analyses to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and key performance drivers across plant operations.
•    Support the creation of dashboards, analytical models, and automated reporting solutions aimed at improving the accessibility and quality of management information.
•    Collaborate with Controlling, Finance, Operations, and other relevant stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
•    Experiment with Generative AI and other AI capabilities to enhance data interpretation, reporting, and insight generation.

 


Requirements


•    Master’s student or recent graduate in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
•    Fluent English and Italian.
•    Strong interest in Controlling, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence.
•    Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and curious approach to complex business questions.
•    Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools; experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
•    Interest in exploring and experimenting with AI tools, including Generative AI.
•    Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
•    A previous experience gained through relevant internship (ideally in the Finance & Administration department of a FMCG Company) will be preferred.
