Job Description

Barilla G. and R. Fratelli Società is looking for a Product Costing Inventory Evaluation Analyst, based in Parma, on a fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will:

• Ensure the correct application of production management rules and procedures to support business needs.

• Support the management of inventory for raw materials, packaging, and semi-finished goods, ensuring accurate data entry in company systems.

• Help keep inventory data aligned with the company’s financial records (balance sheet and profit & loss).

Main Responsibilities

• Assist with the monthly closing process by checking and updating inventory data for raw materials, packaging, semi-finished goods, by-products, and pallets.

• Support the management of subcontracted materials, mill production, and semi-finished goods (particularly sauces).

• Ensure consistency between company systems and inventory reports.

• Assist with the year-end closing process, supporting the evaluation of raw materials, packaging, and other inventory items.

• Contribute to the correct management of labor costs in production departments, ensuring that working hours are allocated to other areas when needed (e.g., training, R&D, marketing).

• Support the accounting of maintenance costs and related investments.

• Check blocked materials on a monthly basis to support the correct management of allowances.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least 6 months of previous experience in industrial accounting or a similar area (including internships).

• Advanced knowledge of English.

• Good knowledge of Excel (knowledge of SAP would be considered a plus).
• Results oriented and problem-solving attitude.
