We are looking for a Sales Analyst to join the Modern Trade Field Sales team, based in Parma.
JOB PURPOSE
The position holder will be responsible of providing data insights, analysis and reports to the Trade & Sales organization, with the aim of supporting them in:
- Support Sales Strategy & Technology Manager to guarantee the connection between Trade and Sales teams, to make easier the achievement of the targets of Store Execution.
- Contribute to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales force in relation to SIE and according to the priorities shared with the VPs, participating in the continuous evolution of the operating model.
- Support Sales Field and Customer Teams to define action plans and resources in order to achieve Strategy in Execution target.
- Provide analysis and reports to support Field structures and Customer Teams to verify the achievement of the goals.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support Field Area Associate Directors and Customer Teams to define quarterly plan to reach the SIE targets, according to the business priorities.
- Manage data analysis and dashboards and provide key insights and take-outs to Trade Marketing and Sales teams to improve In Store Execution.
- Promote the knowledge of SIE KPI’s (Perfect Store) within the Trade and Sales department, ensuring the correct application of its principles.
- Guarantee the update of Barilla Blueprints shared with Trade Marketing and realize the alignment of related Survey.
- Support Marketing, Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing and Customer Teams in designing and implementing tailored surveys to support business decision making.
- Support Sales Strategy & Technology Manager to find new technical solutions to decrease operating costs and improve quality of data collected by Sales Field.
- Scouting of new solutions for In store executions tools & processes.
- Pilot test development
- Maintenance of current model.
- Support Sales Strategy & Technology Manager to guarantee the Trade Margin Monitor Tool quality.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Economics, Data and Analytics for Business and similar.
- Minimum 2 years prior experience within Trade & Sales, IT & Data Analytics or IT Project development.
- Proactive problem-solving approach.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel e/o Power BI Desktop.
- Good familiarity with the main Sales KPIs.
- Strong analytical skills: gather, analyze and turn data into insights and actions. Ability to use analytics & reporting tools.
- Digitally-savvy, with passion towards AI and technology innovation.
- Project management skills, “can do” attitude and strive for excellence.
- Creativity to strengthen and develop the business.
- Active listening and teamwork attitude.
- Drive and determination to learn and develop knowledge and abilities.
- Fluency in both English and Italian
