Job Description

Barilla Group is seeking a motivated student or recent graduate in Food Science, Food Technology, Biology, or a related field for an internship with our Global Supplier Quality Management (GSQM) Team. This internship will be based at our headquarters in Parma, Italy, starting in mid-January 2026.

Job Purpose

The GSQM team is dedicated to ensuring that our suppliers possess the necessary expertise, management systems, and facilities to provide safe products that comply with regulations and meet Barilla's quality standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Support digitalization projects aimed at creating systems and tools that enhance the efficiency and data-driven decision-making processes within the supplier quality team.
• Collaborate with the GSQM team, procurement team, and Barilla production sites to establish process flow connections and implement pilot systems on a larger scale.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biology, or a related field.
• Strong IT skills, including large data management, data analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with cloud technologies and IT networks is essential; knowledge of SAP and Power BI is a plus.
• Soft skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team, perseverance, attention to detail, a passion for digital tools, problem-solving skills, and agility in creating networks.
