Job description
Barilla G. & R. Fratelli is looking for a Tax Professional. The person will be responsible for managing the tax Compliance process for the Legal Entities in the areas of responsibility, managing timely fulfilment of tax and fiscal declarations and duties, guaranteeing constant updating on changes in fiscal regulations, and managing the relationship with local fiscal authorities, in line with operating guidelines defined by the manager and with the Group fiscal and accounting policies.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure appropriate standard tax advice and guarantee continuous updating on changes in fiscal regulations occurring to the national/international laws impacting on the area of responsibility, by providing interpretations to the Group functions involved, studying the trends, making proposals about new operating ways to optimize fiscal process management and defining relative procedures for effective execution, according to the current laws and in compliance with the internal Group policies and procedures.
- Guarantee effective execution of fiscal management processes for the Legal Enti ti es in the area of responsibility, and propose fiscal policies and procedures consistent with Group fiscal guidelines. Monitor their correct implementation within the area of responsibility, according to national regulatory frameworks and in line with the operative procedures given by the manager.
- Support in management of Tax Audits and litigations in the area of responsibility
- Help identifying need of policies and their setting
- Interact with Compliance Service Provider to ensure all information, processes and procedure are properly provided and implemented to ensure deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist the Tax Senior Manager on overall tax responsibilities for the area in scope, including withholding taxes, assessment on Transfer Pricing local compliance fulfilment requirements, Tax Risk Management, Tax Accounting.
- Within the area of responsibility, assist in monitoring the tax compliance, managing the relationship with the local tax authorities and identifying and addressing any tax issues/risk areas. Assist in developing and managing internal & third party partner/vendor relationships relevant for the tax position of Barilla.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or equivalent
- 5 years Tax experience within consultancy firm or In House
- Ability to work in a global environment and with virtual teams
- Strong analytical skills, financial analysis, data management and excel modeling
- Ability to handle simultaneous projects and work under pressure in case of need/deadlines
- Strong strategic mindset
- Very good relational skills, emotional intelligence and ability to lead inter-functional teams
- Italian and English fluency, spoken and written
