Job Description

 

For our Rubbiano plant (PR), we are now looking for talented students / new graduates to join our Supply Chain. 
As a key player in the team, the intern will be provided with a real-world experience, and he / she will have the opportunity to build expertise and be exposed to several competences within the Technical Development and Quality & Technology teams.


Job Purpose:


Learn from some of the best! The purpose of the internship is to introduce you to Barilla by working alongside talented professionals into the Rubbiano plant’s Q&T team and the Technical Development area: you will contribute to the continuous monitoring of the production data and control tools’ outputs searching for potential further improvement KPIs and using all the information output from the systems to monitor and improve the management of our processes. 


More specifically, supported by a mentor and the project team, you will:
•    Contribute to the daily monitoring of the tools 
•    Perform data collection and analysis
•    Evaluate the key information to be displayed to facilitate the conduct of new tool experimentation
•    Collaborate with and involve plant stakeholders in the system optimization
•    Collect and prepare all the necessary material (reports, papers, …) to give evidence of the accuracy of the work done and the work in progress

 

 

Desired Skills and Background:


•    2nd year students / new graduates of Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronic, Management, Mechanical, Industrial etc.) interested in a curricular / extracurricular internship
•    Excellent academic background
•    Study or work experience abroad (nice to have) 
•    Fluent English and Italian, both spoken and written 
•    Strong organisational skills: ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail  
•    Strong analytical skills 
•    Ability to communicate effectively, solid presentation skills 
•    Collaborative and team working approach
