Job Description
Barilla Shanghai seeks to recruit the E-Commerce Sales responsible for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan cluster. The individual will report directly to the General Manager of the cluster. The position is based in Shanghai.
Job Purpose
Design strategies that enable Barilla to win in e-commerce channel, manage all the assigned platforms in China - JD.com, Tiktok, PDD - and all other retail e com shops and build expertise by planning all the relevant activities and advertising in E-commerce platforms, executing in coordination with Marketing and Trade marketing departments, preparing standard reporting for performance monitoring and setting best practices, as well as communication flows with regional and global e-commerce team, in order to achieve channel sales targets.
Key accountabilities
• Directly define and implement, in agreement with line manager, the e-commerce channel strategies to reach the target goals and sales objectives (profitability, product mix, expenditure, customer contribution, discounts, etc.), the budget, as well monitor their realization and initiate corrective action in case of deviations in order to increase company performance results for the channel business
• Build e-commerce network and expertise, execute yearly plan, negotiate with marketing / trade marketing on channel support resources.
• Analyse sales data related to e-commerce, structure them in order to speed up the development of the business and gain insightful information about the channels and end users.
Desired Skills and Background
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• A minimum of 7 years+ working experience in FMCG industry with hands on work experience in key E Commerce operators
• Learning attitude and high learning agility
• Result driven. Being able to successfully implement projects with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
• Honest, independent, open-minded, confident, patient, energetic, passionate, courageous and flexible
