About the role
Barilla Singapore is seeking a Trade Marketing Associate Manager to join our South Asia & South‑East Asia Cluster, based in Singapore.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role offers a unique opportunity to act as a strategic partner to the business, shaping trade strategies across diverse and fast‑growing markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, India and Thailand.
You will work at the intersection of sales, marketing and strategy, translating data and insights into impactful trade marketing initiatives that drive growth, strengthen brand execution, and elevate shopper and consumer engagement across channels.
Key Accountabilities
- Support General Manager and Commercial Manager in setting detailed Country/Channel/Customers trade marketing plans, according to the Marketing plan, Market business plan, and Customers’ strategy.
- Work closely with Barilla internal commercial Team and marketing team, and with distributors’ brand/category management in defining and executing specific market plans.
- Manage the adaptation and harmonization of cross-country TM presentations (new products, new design, new recipes, specific projects, etc.) and updates (declarations, logistics, etc.) by ensuring right balance between local, cluster, regional, global contents, sharing them with all Distributors/Customers (in English) and supporting Marketing SSEA in any potential country localization of projects.
- Based on the needs of different markets and available resources, manage the Trade marketing kit (Assortment, Distribution, Price & Promo, Competitiviness, In-store visibility, POP materials, etc.), and as strategic sales navigator, support the General Manager and Commercial Manger in decision-making and strategic market management for all countries with special focus on key markets (SG, MA, PH, VT, IN and TH).
- Monitor Offering & Price of competition and Barilla, in coordination with Marketing SSEA & Commercial Manager. Drive and follow up new products’ launch/expansion, in coordination with Marketing SSEA, by preparing or adapting launching kit with guidelines for the distributors).
- Support the cost Planning&Control process by managing Consumer Promotion (from PO opening to full compliance with BDG) and support General Manager for all costs.
- POS material: collect market needs, coordinate creation, production and delivery to Distributors’ warehouse, manage stock. In cooperation with Sales, control market execution and drive ruthless execution.
- Work with Agencies to finalize in-store materials, brand activations, image page, category theatralisation, etc.. using the templates supplied by Marketing SSEA.
- Oversee short and long lead artwork projects, promotional material and digital e-newsletters as briefed by the marketing, and sales, ensuring all artwork is on brand, engaging and delivered on time. Maintain brand guidelines and adhere to processes while supporting internal and external designers and other providers through every stage of artwork development as required (concepts, proofs, final print etc).
Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles (e.g. Marketing, Sales, etc.).
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Management, Marketing or related field.
- Growth mindset, willing to always improve, embrace challenges & ambiguity, test, learn and take risks.
- Proactive to strive for defined objectives with a sense of urgency and can-do attitude.
- Solid ability to work with numbers to perform sales & market analyses.
- Ability to plan & see the big picture to anticipate challenges while working on different workstreams.
- Strong team player with people skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills. Ability to Multi-task and prioritise.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to liaise with and present concepts to multiple stakeholders (from internal management to external agencies/clients and partners)
