We’re looking for a Pasta & Condiments Sweden, Denmark, Finland Sr Analyst to join our team. The position is based in Stockholm and reports solid to the Pasta & Condiments Manager.
Job Purpose
The individual will support the manager by developing and implementing the category strategy in Sweden, Denmark & Finland in order to achieve P&L and market share targets for Pasta & Condiments in close collaboration with the global category team. The person is responsible for designing and executing effectively marketing plans for Pasta & Condiments in all countries and for the realization of launch plan for new products with the objective of maximizing the sales and turnover. Furthermore, the individual is in charge of analyzing the performance of the managed categories and tracking the budget.
Key Accountabilities
- Working with the Pasta Category Marketing Manager Sweden, Denmark & Finland, in collaboration with the Trade Marketing, Global Category and the Digital Marketing Manager, create programs that build brand awareness, drive trial and deliver the premiumness and values Barilla stands for.
- Plan and execute category marketing plans for Sweden, Denmark & Finland business in accordance with the Brand’s positioning and communication strategy, support the company's mission and meet financial objectives.
- With M&PI and Category teams, co-develop research plan and provide innovation/renovation recommendations.
- Own the process for new items from idea to launch with 360° business understanding and develop integrated marketing programs; monitor all launches against success criteria and provide recommendations accordingly.
- Utilize the reporting of Nielsen data, competitive intelligence, and consumer research to achieve business and consumer insights and drive marketing plans development.
- Develop an in-depth understanding and become an expert in relevant market – the business environment in which the brand competes including category segments and channels.
- Analyze the performance of the managed category, the promotional & ATL initiatives of our brand & competitors, and propose action plans accordingly to findings.
- Integrate Global and Regional marketing communication strategies (including digital, PR, packaging, etc…) and strive for best execution meeting local market needs.
- Support regional coordination of cross-country activities, as well as coordination of Global/Regional Projects feedback and inputs.
- Manage all aspects of the counties Pasta & Condiments marketing budget, working with Finance on budget tracking, spend reconciliation, and timely vendor payment.
Your Profile
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent degree or work experience, Master preferred
- Great record of accomplishment, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in marketing in the FMCG, additional experience in trade or sales is a plus
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience in digital and social media platforms and technology
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to focus on the bigger picture
- Entrepreneurial 360° mind-set and the capability to manage project successfully with curiosity to learn and understand commercial aspects of the business beyond marketing
- You are at ease working in an international environment and a strong team player
- You have a strong can-do attitude, work well in autonomy and can embrace change with a positive mind set and are confident also in dealing with senior leadership in region/category
- Keen observer and insight gatherer with a passion for Food
- Very good MS Office skills and experience in Nielsen and usage of Shopper Insights
- You have excellent communication skills in English. Swedish is a plus.
