Job description

As part of our growth strategy in Central & Northern Europe we are looking for a Future Leader for a two-year trainee program in Sales & Marketing and the first assignment will be based in our office in Stockholm and the next one could be in one of our sites in Central & Northern Europe .

 

In this Graduate / Trainee Program you will be prepared to take over a leadership position within our organization in which you will influence and shape the future of Barilla. During this time, you will be a full member of the respective department, be responsible for your own projects and you will support the manager in the day-to-day business activities. It also includes formal trainings, business mentorship, experience in the field sales and additionally a key project which you drive to success. You will complete two assignments, one in Stockholm and/or one international in the CE Region, of approximately 12 months each in any of the following three areas: Trade Marketing & Category Management, Consumer Marketing or Sales.

The first assignment will be in Trade Marketing.

In this role you are a coordinator between our internal sales, customers and marketing. You are the brand activator, and your contribution is essential to increase sales within Foodservice – including restaurants, public business, convenience, travel etc. You make reality of the Team’s marketing strategies in close cooperation with the rest of the Foodservice Team and the Marketing department.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Create channel, and in cases also customer, specific communication & marketing plans and manage marketing projects within the Swedish Foodservice business.
  • Developing sales material for our sales team, in cooperation with our marketing agency and making sure we have the right tools to ensure efficient and result oriented sales.
  • Manage innovation projects & product changes / updates.
  • Create and implement launch plans. Make sure we have the best possible toolbox for the sales force supporting our launches within our categories.
  • Manage contacts with external agencies for marketing planning, realization of sales and communication material.
  • Keep a close dialogue and contact with our Marketing / Trade Marketing & Category department in order to exchange information and find synergies between our functions.
  • As responsible for the Foodservice marketing budget, ensure cost effective use and correct follow up.
  • Manage Barilla & Wasa Foodservice presence online in relevant social medias, in cooperation with relevant agency and the Marketing function.

 

 

About you

We are looking for a structured and creative person who really make things happen and enjoys working with varied tasks in a fast-moving environment. You have an interest in food and make sure to stay up to date on what’s happening in the industry. You have strong communication skills and are used to working with various departments and different people in an organization. You work well both in team and independently. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written and your previous experience is from sales and/or marketing. German language skills are considered a plus. You have a master's degree in business administration, marketing or a comparable area.
