Brief Description 

 

Barilla Poland is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Warsaw.

The Finance Manager is responsible to lead the financial management and performance monitoring of Barilla Poland, ensuring accurate reporting, strong compliance, strategic business support and effective team leadership. The key mission of the role is to provide the financial insights needed to drive profitable growth while ensuring alignment with Barilla policies and corporate standards.

The Finance Manager Poland plays a pivotal role in ensuring sound financial governance, enabling strong business performance and supporting the long‑term growth and profitability of Barilla’s operations in the country.

 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Deliver accurate budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions. Provide clear, reliable economic and fiscal insights to local and regional team, ensuring transparency and credibility of financial information.
  • Safeguard compliance with Polish tax, legal, and regulatory requirements, ensuring timely and accurate fiscal reporting and declarations.
  • Maintain robust internal controls, monitor risks, and stay continuously updated on fiscal, accounting and legal developments.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for local regulatory and fiscal authorities when required.
  • Partner closely with the General Manager to support key decisions, business plan development and growth initiatives.
  • Manage and develop a team of 3 direct reports, ensuring capability growth and strong performance.
  • Coordinate effectively with external advisors (legal, fiscal, accounting, management) to ensure high‑quality outputs and compliance.
  • Lead interactions with external auditors, ensuring smooth audit execution and transparent financial governance.
  • Foster a collaborative, transparent and accountable team environment.

 

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in Finance, Controlling, and/or Accounting roles.
  • Proven experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and monthly closing processes.
  • Solid understanding of statutory reporting, tax requirements and local regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in business partnering with senior management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (analytical skills & reporting).
  • Strong experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across levels and functions.
  • Proactive, collaborative and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in Polish and Business English
  • Experience working in a multinational or matrix organization is a strong advantage.

 

Important Information  

  • The position reports directly to the General Manager Poland and functionally to the Finance Associate Director Eastern Europe.
  • The role is based in our Warsaw office, Poland. We offer hybrid working as a mix of working remotely and from the office.
  • The expected starting date is May 2026, with a full-time permanent contract.
